The vineyard sits on top of deep course shist alluvium with ardgour series hill soil. Free draining gravel with a small amount of loess. Moderate fertility. Low to medium nutrient status ideal for growing high quality fruit vines.

Plant density - 2500 vines per hectare. All hand planted in 2009.
Spur pruned on a Vertical Shoot Positioned (VSP) trellis
